Headwaters and Small Tributaries
Headwaters and small tributaries are small streams and rivers near where they are formed (their headwaters). You could throw a rock across these. These are small streams and rivers that are collecting water from an area of less than 40 square miles, only about as large as 1/4 of the city of Detroit.
